Men’s Club

The Men’s Club of Marathon Jewish Center has been a vital arm of the Center since its inception.  Over the years we have participated in a variety of fundraising and social events.

Currently, we take pride in several of our activities.  Men’s Club has an ongoing visitation program.  Our members regularly go to Long Island Jewish Hospital to visit Marathon members and other patients to help cheer them up and bring news of their condition to the Center Board.

Men’s Club also visits the Geriatric Center on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, bringing flowers to brighten the day for the people there.

For Succoth, it is the Men’s Club that sees to it that the Succah is erected and for Yom HaShoah, the Holocaust Remembrance Day, we distribute memorial candles for people to light so that we will never forget.
